Walking the streets of Vienna is like walking through a different era. The horse-drawn carriages, the beautiful architecture and the sidewalk cafes are reminiscent of the great age of Viennese Classicism.
These beautiful trees line the courtyards of the Schönbrunn Palace, a former imperial summer residence in Vienna, Austria.
I captured this photograph as I was travelling throughout the Montmartre district by train. At the turn of the century, this historic district welcomed artists of many kinds including Salvador Dalí, Amedeo Modigliani, Claude Monet, Piet Mondrian, Pablo Picasso, Camille Pissarro and Vincent van Gogh. Today, it still welcomes those who appreciate its beauty.
